The popular Snickari Summer Chefs weeks return – featuring two visiting top chefs

This summer, Snickari welcomes Piero Silvani, Culinary Lead at Bistro Ego, and Kim Päivästö, MasterChef Estonia winner and top chef.
During the Summer Chefs weeks, guests can enjoy a three-course signature menu designed by the visiting chef, crowned with an opening snack or amuse-bouche. The dining experience is completed with a carefully curated wine pairing.
Summer Chefs dinners fill up at record speed, so we recommend making your table reservation well in advance!
Piero Silvani 9–13 June 2026
Piero Silvani is Finland’s Chef of the Year 2025 and Culinary Lead at Bistro Ego. He has built his career over nearly 16 years, from Michelin-starred restaurants in Helsinki and Stockholm to large-scale catering events. Piero’s passion is to create a truly memorable dining experience, where even the smallest details are carefully considered.
His culinary philosophy combines classic and modern cuisine with a strong focus on high-quality ingredients. At Bistro Ego, this is reflected, for example, in the fusion of French bistro classics with Japanese flavours.
According to Piero, the restaurant industry is the best and most inspiring field in the world. His mission is to encourage Finns to leave their homes, dine out more often, and increase appreciation for the restaurant industry across the country.

Kim Päivästö 11–15 August 2026
Kim Päivästö is a Finnish top chef and head chef who rose to international recognition after winning MasterChef Professionals Estonia. He has over 18 years of experience in the restaurant industry, including work in several Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe. In Finland, Kim has served as head chef at Michelin-starred Demo and Inari. Kim’s style combines classical French techniques with modern influences, particularly from Asia and Japan.
In Finland, he is also known as the winner of Chef of the Year 2021. He is a co-owner of Twenty Four Social Club and is currently based mainly in Estonia, where he develops new restaurant concepts and brings bold flavour experiences to the international culinary scene.
